Turban headband

I really like this look, so i decided I must try it. I bought a plain black jersey knit turban headband(shown in picture) and was super excited for it. I patiently waited 2 weeks for it to come in the mail, finally when I got it, I put it on and I looked like a fortune teller. Maybe i don't have the right type of hair, or my forehead is too small, but how in the world do you pull this off? Very upset.

Best color ever

Mod about you by OPI use to be my FAVORITE nail polish color. It was so great, it made you look tan even in the winter. For some strange reason OPI decided to discontinue it. When I found out I stocked up but I just ran out, wtf OPI. Luckily, there is a color similar to it called Fiji by essie. I guess I can forgive you OPI.

Another obsession for the moment are small satchel bags(which i'm not sure if thats the name of them) or across the body clutches. Alice's Tea Cup

I know this blog is suppose to be strictly clothing, make up, and stuff like that...but I really love food and I like finding cute places to go eat. I also like when people tell me about good places(so please do!) Alice's Tea Cup is an adorable little restaurant in NYC (I went to the one in the upper west side) that has a great atmosphere, great brunch, and great tea (even though i'm more of a coffee drinker.) So if you ever find yourself in the city and you want a good brunch, you should check it out!

Nude vs Red

The two type of lip colors that I really like, and would actually wear are Nude and Red. The problem I have with both colors is they never come out how I expected it too. Nude lipsticks always make me looked like I have gross chapped lips, while red lipstick makes me look like a path goth kid. I put on the red and look in the mirror  thinking I look great, then I see a picture of myself later that night and it's like "What was I thinking?"I have probably bought at least twenty different brands and variations of both colors. In the end I always want to have a nude lip, but just end up going bare.

I've always wanted these types of bikini bottoms, they look very vintage and trendy. But wouldn't you end up with a horrible tan line? You would only be able to wear high waisted bottoms all summer and no other type. What if I wanted to rock thong style or boy shorts, Worth it? probably not. Still cute for photo shoots and trying to look like you are from the 1940s.
